Data Sources

Journals Impact Factors is an independent directory. The website organizes journal information obtained from structured datasets and publicly available journal metadata. Depending on the record, fields may include journal title, abbreviation, ISSN/eISSN, publisher and journal-level citation metrics.

Journal Citation Reports data

Journal Impact Factor and Journal Citation Indicator are Clarivate metrics reported through Journal Citation Reports. When JCR-derived values are displayed, the metric year matters because Journal Citation Reports is an annual snapshot rather than a continuously changing live calculation.

Identifiers and publisher information

ISSN and eISSN information may be checked against journal or serial metadata sources. Publisher names can change because of ownership transfers, mergers or journal moves, so the publisher shown for a record should be read in the context of its update date.

Independent presentation

This website does not claim to reproduce the complete licensed Journal Citation Reports database. Coverage on this site can differ from the official source, and some records may have missing fields. We do not infer a missing JIF from another metric.

For formal verification of Journal Impact Factor, JCI, category, quartile or Web of Science coverage, consult the official Clarivate resources. For ISSN verification, consult an authoritative ISSN record or the journal's official publisher page.
