Corrections
Journal records can change, and large datasets can contain outdated or incorrectly matched information. If you find a problem on this website, we welcome a clear correction request.
What to include
- the journal title and, if available, ISSN or eISSN;
- the URL of the page on this website;
- the specific field you believe is incorrect;
- the correct information you are proposing; and
- a reliable source that supports the correction.
How requests are reviewed
We compare the request with the information available to us and give preference to authoritative sources such as the official publisher, official indexing record or official metric provider. A correction may be declined if the evidence is unclear or if the request asks us to replace an official metric with an unofficial calculation.
Corrections are intended to improve factual accuracy. They are not a mechanism for changing a journal's metric, quartile or ranking simply because a publisher or author disagrees with the official value.
